Who Can Enter
1. To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be a U.S. resident who is 18 years of age or older, and resides in the KDNL ABC 30 viewing area.
2. Employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., Sinclair Media I, Inc., and any other company which owns, programs or provides other services to television broadcast station KDNL ABC 30 (the “Station”), Stages St. Louis, The Douglas Group, Inc. dba UPICKEM, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any and all local television broadcast and cable stations, local radio and other media companies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. Only one winner per household.
How to Enter
(a) No purchase is necessary to enter. Qualified entrants may enter once. Entrants must be individuals only. No group entries will be valid.
(b) To enter online, log onto KDNL ABC 30’s web page at www.abcstlouis.com to complete the online entry form with your name, address, phone, birth date, email address, and upload a photo yourself as your favorite country star or cowboy. The submission of a picture must be in jpg format, and cannot exceed 5MB in size. No mechanically reproduced or completed entries will be accepted.
(c) By entering, entrants represent and warrant (i) that they own the photo submitted, (ii) it does not violate the rights of any third parties, (iii) the photo has not been altered or enhanced with any software, and (iv) that they agree to the terms and conditions located at abcstlouis.com/station/legal/terms.shtml. No lewd, nude, crude, or offensive photos (as determined by the Station in its sole and absolute discretion) will be accepted. The Station reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any entry.
(d) The contest starts on May 22, 2013, and ends on June 19, 2013. All entries must be received by Station by 11:59 p.m. CDT on June 19, 2013 to qualify for the drawing. Station is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for typing errors, server unavailability, computer or any other electronic malfunction.
(e) On June 19, 2013, six(6) winners will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries, for a total of six(6) winners.
(f) To be eligible you must be a U.S. resident who are 18 years of age or older, reside in the KDNL viewing area, and a registered user of UPICKEM. Photo entrants can vote for themselves.
(g) All entries received that are duplicated, mutilated, tampered with, incorrect, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., Sinclair Media I, Sponsor, and the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned.
The Prize(s)
1. Each of the six (6) winners will receive two (2) front row seats to see Always….Patsy Cline Show at Stages St. Louis. The dates of the tickets are to be determined by Stages St. Louis. Each prize is valued at $78.00. The Station and sponsor are not responsible in the event a performance is cancelled or postponed.
2. Winners will be notified by phone. Before claiming prizes, winners must provide their correct name, address and telephone number to Station at the time of notification. Winners must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility, which must be received within 2 days of notification at the time winner(s) claim his/her prize in person at the Station. Station reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the prize based on the identification presented.
3. If a winner cannot be notified within two (2) days, or does not sign and return the release and affidavit of eligibility, then the prize will be forfeited, and time permitting, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner the next highest number of valid votes, as determined by the Station.
4. There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for prizes except at the sole discretion of Station. The Station has the right to substitute a prize of similar value. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
5. Each winner is responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.
6. Only one prize will be awarded per household.
7. Sinclair Media I, Inc., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize.
8. Sinclair Media I, Inc., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.
9. In claiming your prize, you acknowledge that Sinclair Media I, Inc., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. have the right to publicize your name, character, likeness, photograph, voice and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.
Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous
1. Odds of winning depend on the number of votes received.
2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at KDNL ABC 30, 1215 Cole Street, St. Louis, MO 63106 and on the Station’s website at www.abcstlouis.com.
3. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to KDNL ABC 30 at 1215 Cole Street, St. Louis, MO 63106 by July 31, 2013.
4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Sinclair Media I, Inc., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc., The Douglas Group, Inc. dba UPICKEM, and Stages St. Louis accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
5. Station cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes or contest information.
6. Station reserves the right to make rules and contest changes and change the aforementioned contest dates.
